Chatting Across Subdomains

Do you have multiple subdomains on your website? For example, you might have payments.fancyflowervases.com and www.fancyflowervases.com.

Wildcard method

If you want Olark conversations to continue across all of your subdomains, go to the Setup page and tell us your main domain. You can use an asterisk (*) to automatically include all the subdomains associated with your domain:

Now visitors will be able to continue their chats when they go from one subdomain to another. Cool!

List individual subdomains

If you are using subdomains on multiple sites, you can enter all of them by using a comma to separate each url.
