JIRA is a Help Desk that can be connected to Olark to help access all of your transcripts, offline messages, and customer data.

Follow these steps to connect Olark and JIRA to begin sending chat transcripts and offline messages to your Help Desk software.

  1. To connect the integration, go to your JIRA configuration page. Click Install. You'll be redirected to the Atlassian add-on Marketplace.

  2. Go back to your JIRA instance and look at your Add-ons. step 2

  3. Find the Olark add-on and click Install and then Confirm & Install.

  4. Click the Get Started button, then click the green button to Connect Atlassian to Olark.

  5. You'll be redirected back to your JIRA configuration page on olark.com, where you'll now see an active connection indicated, along with some configuration options.

  6. From your operator console, type !jira during any chat to send the conversation to JIRA. The chat will appear there as a comment inside the ticket.
