Why is my visitor list empty? (Olark Classic)

Show only chatting visitors

If you have a very active website and your visitor list doesn't show all visitors, it may be that you were automatically switched to showing only chatting visitors.

We automatically switch the visitor list over to show only chatting for high traffic sites. We don't want to overwhelm your visitor list when you have multiple visitors landing every second. Once this threshold is crossed, your site is flagged as a high traffic site.

Come chat with us or send us an email at support@olark.com, and we can change this setting back to show all visitors.

Please note that the above information applies to paid accounts only. Free accounts are permanently set to show only chatting visitors.
