JIRA Service Desk is a Help Desk that can be connected to Olark to help access all of your transcripts, offline messages, and customer data.

Follow these steps to connect Olark and JSD to begin sending chat transcripts and offline messages to your Help Desk software.

  1. To connect the integration, go to your JIRA Service Desk configuration page. Click Install. You’ll be redirected to the Atlassian add-on Marketplace.

  2. Find the Olark add-on and click Install.

  3. Click the Configure button, then click the green button to Verify your Atlassian login.

  4. You’ll be redirected back to your JIRA Service Desk configuration page on olark.com, where you’ll now see an active connection indicated, along with some configuration options.

  5. From your agent console, type !jsd during any chat to send the conversation to JIRA Service Desk. The chat will appear there as a comment inside the ticket.
