Groove integration guide
In order to connect Olark and Groove, you must first have an Olark account and a Groove account. If you don’t already have an account with Olark, sign up here. To set up your Groove account, head over to Groove’s site.
To keep your Olark chats and offline messages under the same roof as the rest of your Groove support, just follow these simple steps:
Log into Olark and go to the Groove integration page.
Log into Groove, then Click Olark in the left sidebar under Other Apps. Then click the button to Add site ID.
This will open a window showing your Olark Site ID and Webhook URL. Copy the Webhook URL and paste it into the corresponding text field on the Groove integration page. Configure the rest of the settings you’d like, then click Save and you’re all set!
Once connected, you can send a test case at any time with the click of a button inside the configuration area:

You can also enable Olark on your Groove Support Widget. For more information visit here. To install follow these steps:
Setting up a new Groove Support Widget:
While logged into Groove, click on the Apps button and then click Support Widget to install it.
Then click the Install button for the the Support Widget.
Click on the Settings button for the Support Widget.
Click the Create Widget button.
Choose your widget preferences and click CONTINUE.
Click on ADD OLARK from the options on the right.
Make sure to select the correct Olark Site ID for your Olark account. Your Olark Site ID can be found here.
Copy the code provided and place it before the closing tag of your website’s source code.
Modifying an existing Groove Support Widget
If you have already installed Support Widget, while logged into Groove, click on Settings in the top right.
Then, click on the Support Widget button under the Other Apps section.
Click the ‘gear’ icon that corresponds to the widget you want to add Olark to.
Follow steps 6 through 9 of the section Setting up a new Groove Support Widget.
