Basic Account Information

  • Username: username@olark.com
  • Server: olark.com
  • Protocol: Jabber
  • Port: 5222
  • Use SSL: no
  • Prompt when sending Plaintext Passwords: no

Using Olark in iChat

  1. Launch iChat
  2. Enter the iChat Preferences from the iChat menu option

  3. Select the 'Accounts' Preferences Tab and click the '+' icon to add a new account.

  4. Select Account Type: 'Jabber'
    On Add Jabber Account
  5. Fill in the field 'Jabber ID:' with username@olark.com and the 'Password' field with your Olark password.

  6. Now just set your status to 'Available' and you're all set!
