Using Olark in Adium

We highly recommend using Adium with Olark as it lets you log in using multiple screen names simultaneously. This means you can use GoogleTalk and Olark independently, separating business and personal chats for example.

Adium Olark Tutorial

  1. Launch Adium
  2. Enter the Adium Preferences from the Adium menu option

  3. Select the "Accounts" Preferences Tab.

  4. Click on the "+" icon to add a Jabber account
    Account Add
  5. Fill in the field 'Jabber ID:' with your Olark username: username@realm and the 'Password' field with your Olark password.

  6. Select 'Available' in the status menu to bring your Olark account online.
