Connect Your Chat Client

Use this tutorial to start chatting with your web visitors on your iPhone! Meebo also has Android or Blackberry versions.

Download Meebo for iPhone from the App Store
Create a Meebo account (or login if you already have one).
When creating your Meebo account, keep in mind that this is separate than your Olark account you'll use to chat with your website visitors
After you've created your Meebo account, choose Jabber (towards the bottom)
Here's where you enter your Olark credentials: username@olark.com, and your password for the Olark website.
After that Meebo will show you a screen that lets you add other networks, like Facebook chat or Gtalk. You don't need to do anything else to chat with your web visitors though. Just click "done".
That's it! As long as our code is correctly installed on your website, you should start getting chats from your visitors!
If you need to change your status from "Available" (to let users know when you're not online), go to the Accounts screen and tap where it says, "Tap here to change your status".
