Pop Outs Sent to All Groups Fix

Hi All,

Loving the service. However, one thing I've noticed is that when a visitor uses the pop out function on the chat window and then sends in a chat, it overrides the group rules on the page and sends the chat request to every operator even if they are in a group who is not supposed to receive the chat. Is there a fix for this or is it something that you're planning for the future?

Thanks!
P

Hey there, thank for daylighting this. Groups are specified with some JavaScript config on their website, and when we do the popout I'm not sure how (or if) we pass along the extra JavaScript config people have put on their website.

I'll write this up as a bug straight away.

Awesome, thanks Bill.

One other issue that may be related to this is that we're also noticing that if a client uses the pop out function and an operator responds, we're not seeing the visitor show as busy in Pidgin. I believe that in most cases, if a visitor is chatting with an operator, that visitor is shown as busy to all other operators.

Cheers,

Thanks, Peter.

The pop out function bug has been fixed. Please test and confirm that it's okay on your end.

Hi Bill,

I tested it and it looks like pop outs are still going to all groups. Do I need to update anything?
