Messages is a program that comes pre-installed on recent versions of the Mac OSX operating system, and an easy way to get started with Olark. Messages is the new name for Apple's iChat version 7.

Go to the "Preferences" page

Click "Accounts" then the "+" button at the bottom left

Select "Jabber" as the Account Type

Type your Olark username with "@olark.com" at the end, and your Olark password

You're done! If you want to see your buddylist, click "window" then "buddies"
