Trillian for Windows setup guide

Trillian is a free instant messenger program that works with your Olark on Windows, as well as MacOS X, Android, iPhone, BlackBerry and the web.
  1. Download the Trillian chat console for Windows or Mac from the Trillian website and install on your computer.
  2. Launch Trillian. You will need to have a Trillian account. Either create a new one, or sign in to your existing Trillian account.

  3. Once you are logged in to Trillian, press the Trillian button in your menubar.

  4. Choose Jabber/XMMP as your connection type.

  5. Enter your Olark account details.
     

    Note: Be sure to add @olark.com to the end of your username. For example, olark-joe@olark.com


  6. Click Connect. Your Olark account should now be connected. You can check this by looking for helpdesk in your contacts list.

That's it, you're all set to chat with your site visitors using the Trillian im chat program.
