Wordpress integration guide

You can set up Olark with the most popular blogging platform in the world. Add Olark to your Wordpress site in a few simple steps.

This tutorial is for self-hosted WordPress.org sites. WordPress.com blogs do not allow you to embed the Olark JavaScript code.

1. Sign in to your WordPress admin panel.
   
   
2. Access the Widgets section, under the Appearance menu.
   
   
3. Add a Text Widget to one of the Footer areas, for example Footer Area One. You may need to drag the Text Widget out of the "Primary Widgets" area into "Available Widgets" for the widget to be active.
   
   
4. Copy your Olark code (you must be logged in to Olark.com):
   
   
5. Paste your code into the Text widget, leaving the title blank.
   
   
6. Hit save, and you're all set!
