Do I need an Engineerian to get the Olark code on my Web site?

Getting going requires not much more than cutting and pasting the chat Box code from the install tab in your dashboard on Olark.com. After you login to your account, you can get your code here: https://www.olark.com/install to copy and paste onto pages of your Web site (whichever page you wish the chat box to appear).  No coding necessary.

Adding the Olark HTML to your Web Page

We make it easy to add Olark to your web page. Just follow the simple steps below. If you can't for the life of you get Olark running, your service may be blocking JavaScript (You can confirm this by looking for the Olark code in page source from your browser).

1. Copy the code
2. Open your web-page in a text editor (i.e. TextEdit)
3. Paste the Olark code anywhere in the web-page's HTML source. (We recommend placing it at the bottom of your page before the </body> tag.)
4. Save your modified web page.
5. Upload it to your web server
6. That's it, you are done!
